Our new unit - Sharing The Planet We have begun learning about the living things we share the planet with - plants and animals. The children have spent some time in the garden observing and drawing the living and non-living things they saw. We had a picnic in the garden and the birds came to join us! We also were able to visit Khao Phra Thaeo National Park again, and this time it didn't rain! The children had a wonderful time and seemed so happy and amazed by all the nature they saw. We enjoyed walking to the river and saw many new things - giant ants and their large ant mound, mushrooms, vines, caterpillars and butterflies. It was a great introduction to the 'great outdoors'. E is for egg! We boiled eggs this week and then used beeswax crayons to decorate them. We took our eggs with us to the national park to eat for our picnic! Music Class The children love going to Music with Kru Frederick! They have begun practicing for their performance at the Christmas Fair. Scavenger Hunt with Grade 3
For our Buddy Time last week, the Grade 3's had prepared a scavenger hunt for us! The children had to find out the answers to questions such as: the number of flower pots between two buildings, the name of the nurse, what shape Kru Ned has made the garden beds and many more. They enjoyed exploring the wider school with their older friends. Comments are closed.
