Dear Parents,
I am Mr. Frederick Estrada, a Filipino, and a graduate of Bachelor of Music Major in Music Education at Sta. Isabel College in the Philippines. This is my sixth year here at UWCT as a Music teacher for Primary Department. My past teaching experiences include conducting choir from different churches and teaching in public and private schools in the Philippines. I also taught Music in an international school in Jakarta, Indonesia before moving in Phuket.
Here at UWCT, we consider Music in the primary school as one of the subjects that makes the students’ lives balanced and enjoyable. Learning through music is fundamental to the development of the whole child and promotes creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and social interactions.
If you have any concerns regarding the music class, you can send me an email at [email protected].
I am looking forward to having a great musical year with your child.
Musically yours,
Kru Frederick Estrada

We had fun demonstrating our knowledge of pitch levels by moving our bodies to indicate various high and low pitches.
The students also enjoyed playing the xylophone. By using this musical instrument, they were able to demonstrate their knowledge of high and low placement.
The preschool students explored the different voice levels for music. They explored speaking, shouting, whispering, and most especially their beautiful singing voices!
