Classroom Activities Kru Bowling was sick this week and we were lucky to have many people helping us! Thank you to Kru Nok, Kru Pla, and the Nursery TA's. We have been making lots of things - from playdough, threading beads and other craft materials. Not A Box As part of our Unit of Inquiry, one of our lines of inquiry is 'imaginative use of everyday materials'. We introduced some cardboard boxes to our classroom for the children to explore. A wide variety of imaginative activites ensued, boxes became boats, planes, jack-in-the-box and were decorated with paint and other materials. Our sound of the week was 'Aa'. We thought of lots of words with the 'a' sound - many of our names have a's in them, as well as apple, ants, avocado, alligator and ape. We made apple prints and dot Aa's. Wai Kru We celebrated Wai Kru in Thai class. Wai Kru means paying respect to the teachers. The children helped by preparing the flowers. Big thanks to Kru Ying and Kru Boom for organising such a special day for the teachers. Happy Birthday Yaya! It was Yaya's birthday a few weeks ago but she was sick, so now we were able to celebrate her birthday. Her parents came in and shared some lovely photos of Yaya when she was younger. Then we gave her a card we had made and shared a delicious birthday cake. Have fun being 3 in Preschool Yaya! Comments are closed.
